# Internal Front Box

All of our Shadow® Overflows use our ***Snap Fit™ Weir*** design. This allows for the front weir to be secured in place and not fall off into your aquarium. It is also designed to be easily removable it cleaning is needed. Our Zero Clearance weir allows you to remove the weir without any interference with your aquariums trim or eurobracing. Here is how to Remove the Front Snap Fitting Weir from the overflow:

The V3 now includes a ***Quiet Flow™ Weir*** design which uses an internal plate inside the front box of the overflow. Please make sure to remove the tape that holds this in place during shipping. This tape needs to be removed prior to running the overflow. The Front weir plate may also need to be removed and cleaned from time to time, but should be almost maintenance free.
